The Model

Three principles that define the firm—and why clients benefit.

01Direct Involvement

Senior counsel personally leads every matter from beginning to end.

The lawyer you hire is the lawyer who handles your matter.

The lawyer who assesses the facts develops the strategy and remains responsible for its execution.

That continuity is what produces mastery of the record—and mastery of the record is what separates competent advocacy from decisive advocacy.

02Modern Systems

Custom systems built for complex matters.

We developed our own systems from the ground up, drawing on decades of experience in high-stakes litigation. Our workflows compress the implementation work that once required large associate teams—analyzing complete matter files rather than isolated documents, and allowing senior counsel to develop strategy from the full factual record with greater speed and precision.

These systems support legal judgment. They do not replace it. Every substantive output is prepared and reviewed by senior counsel.

Technology in litigation is most dangerous when it substitutes for thinking and most valuable when it amplifies it.

03Incentives

We structure fees to promote efficiency, predictability, and accountability.

Where the scope of work can be reasonably defined, we prefer a fixed fee. A fixed fee aligns our incentives with efficient, high-quality execution—not with billable hours. You know the cost before the work begins, and if we misjudge the scope, that risk is ours to bear, not yours.

Where the scope cannot be reasonably defined at the outset, we bill hourly against a budget established at the beginning of the engagement and refined as the matter develops. As the scope clarifies, we may transition to a fixed fee or a fee cap, depending on the nature of the matter.

In every matter, the objective remains the same: efficient, predictable, and accountable representation.
